Datuk Jarno Trulli - Lotus-Cosworth

Practice: 19th / 18th / 20th
Total practice laps: 71
Qualifying: 18th
Pit stop laps: 15 24
Result: 17th
Summary: Trulli missed out on a Q2 spot by a tiny 0.009s and started 18th. He was pushed to the back when Glock’s passing move went wrong on lap three, but got back up to second in the ‘new teams’ class behind di Grassi. Hydraulic problems developed in the closing laps, but he managed to nurse (macam kerja jururawat) the car to the finish in last place.

Datuk Heikki Kovalainen - Lotus-Cosworth

Practice: - / 19th / 21st
Total practice laps: 50
Qualifying: 17th / 15th
Pit stop laps: 11 (puncture), 17 (hydraulic repairs)
Result: not classified (hydraulics)
Summary: Kovalainen thrilled his team on its owner’s home ground by qualifying 15th, as the new Lotus operation reached Q2 for the first time. He didn’t stay that high up for long in the race, losing several positions at the start and then picking up a puncture when a bold move on di Grassi went wrong. Hydraulic problems then further delayed him, and he was eventually too far behind to be classified as a finisher.
